API & MCP access

Ask the dataset, not the PDF

Remlytica answers over the API, or inside any MCP client, from the same curated figures that drive the dashboards. One company, nine questions, each one following from the last.

Two layers

The company record

One structured record per company - every CEO-year, every incentive, the scorecard, the shareholdings, the vote history. The same record the dashboards themselves read, which is why the two can never disagree.

The queryable warehouse

A normalised database, one row per company-year, built for questions that span companies: screens, comparisons and timelines that no per-company record can answer.

What an agent can ask for

Eight tools, each one calling the same code the platform calls.

Tool What it answers
Dataset infoWhat the database holds, when it was built, and the unit of every field
List companiesEvery company with its index, sector and latest single figure
Company scorecardOne company's CEO-year timeline: pay, bonus %, vesting %, TSR, votes, pay ratio
Incentive conditionsThe performance measures, their goalposts, the outcome and the design weights
Say-on-pay votesRemuneration vote results by AGM, including dissent
Screen CEOsThe question tool - any combination of filters, sorted and capped
Compare companiesUp to ten companies' scorecards side by side
Full recordThe complete record for one company, in any market we cover

A worked question

The point of this is not the endpoint. It is that a question an analyst would otherwise spend a morning on becomes one sentence.

“Which FTSE 100 chief executives took more than 90% of their maximum bonus in a year their shareholders lost money?”

resolves to

screen_ceos
  index    = FTSE100
  year     = 2024
  stip_min = 90          // % of maximum bonus
  tsr_max = 0 // total shareholder return at or below nil

and comes back as rows, not prose - company, CEO, year, bonus % of maximum, TSR, single figure - each one traceable to the report it was read from.

Cross-company screening covers the FTSE All-Share today. The S&P and STOXX markets are reachable one company at a time while their data is brought into the same warehouse.

How it connects

The interface is the Model Context Protocol, so any agent that speaks MCP - Claude, or a firm's own framework - connects without an SDK or a client library to install. For illustration, a subscriber's configuration would read:

{ "mcpServers": {
    "remlytica": {
      "command": "npx",
      "args": ["-y", "mcp-remote", "https://remlytica.com/mcp",
               "--header", "Authorization: Bearer <your key>"]
    } } }

Each subscriber's credential carries their own entitlement and their own usage allowance. Create or revoke yours on your account page.

Machine access is part of a subscription, not a separate product. Your key takes a moment to create, and the same key serves the HTTP routes and the MCP server. If a market you need is not in the warehouse yet, tell us which.
